On-Call Firefighters provide cover for over 90% of the UK and play a vital part in protecting their communities. Working on a stand-by basis, the majority combine this important role with their current job.
Working with the Department for Communities & Local Government, Pogo developed a communications toolkit for individual Fire & Rescue Services to use with employers in their local area. It's designed to increase employers' awareness of the On-Call system and explain how it works, while highlighting the many benefits it can bring to their business.
The FRS Toolkit includes a range of items, including easy to read factsheets, FAQs and first-hand case studies, as well as a CD-Rom containing editable templates and posters so each FRS can produce their own tailored materials. As part of this project Pogo provided a number of services including design, photography and copywriting.
