The Environment Agency are champions of the environment and believe in leading by example. Their Southern Region has a five year Internal Environment Management strategy, with clear targets for minimising the environmental impact of their activities in six key areas, energy, renewables, water, waste, mileage and carbon.
This ongoing internal communications campaign has two objectives. Firstly, to ensure that the Region’s staff understand what has been achieved so far, and secondly to explain what they can do to help meet future targets.
Pogo developed a strong creative concept for this campaign, which was applied to a range of media including posters, postcards, presentations and ambient. These were well received and have been made available to the Environment Agency’s other regions across the country.
Working with the Department for Communities & Local Government, Pogo developed a communications toolkit for individual Fire & Rescue Services to use with employers in their local area. Contrary to popular belief there is an abundance of timber worldwide but most of it is softwood. Whilst softwood is suitable for many applications it is hardwood that delivers performance and beauty. Hardwood can take decades to grow until it is ready for harvest and the temptation is to plunder ancient resources for premium timber and in doing so this causes destruction on an unimaginable scale.
Years of intensive research have resulted in a unique and patented process which gives managed plantation timber the performance and appearance of traditional hardwood. This new resource of hard wood is called Lignia™ and it is created from sustainable plantation timber.

How will you be sending your greetings this year? Perhaps you’ll go for a traditional card, send an email or a link to something animated and interactive online. Whichever way you want to spread the cheer, Pogo can help.
Here are some of the Christmas communications we’ve designed in recent years. Of course, email and online solutions can be fully integrated to analytics, so you can see how many people have received your Christmas message.
